No one is supporting Hamas . Israel is using the attack that happ in Oct as an excuse to kill thousands of civilians. They are killing 90% civilians and last numbers I saw had over 10000 dead children. Are they all those kids terrorist ?

“This isn’t what genocide looks like” said No1 who seems to be experts in international laws while blaming children for being born in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Specifically, what it looks like when you start a war with a country more powerful than you.

This is where you lose me. What percentage of Gaza’s population “started” the war?

Yeah, that’s how war works. The leadership (in this case one chosen by the people) chooses on behalf of their people.

The last election in Gaza was in 2006. About half of the population wasn’t even alive. Did they really choose this?

          Yeah, that’s how war works.

So collective punishment of the civilian population is part of all war, in your view? Including cutting off food and water?

Yes. In war, it’s super common for civilian populations to lose their homes, lose access to food and water supplies, etc

This isn’t quite the same though is it? Food, water and essential supplies were purposefully cut off.

You didn’t answer this part: given the fact that the last election was 2006 and about half of the population wasn’t even alive, did they really choose this?

I partially agree with you. Palestinians are stupid because they think repeated attacks will change anything. Israelis are stupid because they believe their brutal responses will end terrorism.

And both have been doing this BS for 75 years.
