That’s absolutely not true. My mom had solar panels put on her house more than a decade ago and there are giant wind farms all over this state that have not been put up in the last 10 years.

Also, people argued a lot more than a decade ago that free energy machines didn’t work. And they were right. And they’re still right. Because just because someone says their technology will work doesn’t mean it ever will.

In this case, it’s literally just an excuse to pump more oil out of the ground.

People don’t get their social media fix from Ground News. They do get it from going to platforms which governments use to push agendas without any pushing back from the people at the top. And it has been shown over and over again that people do not give a shit if an article is fact checked and shown to be false if it conforms to the ideology they’re being spoon-fed on those platforms by those governments.

By suggesting there’s no value in trying to get people off of platforms pushing government propaganda, you’re essentially saying that there’s no point convincing people not to voluntarily be lied to. I vehemently disagree.

You cannot find information properly on those websites, American or Chinese, and if you were a critical thinker, you wouldn’t use them.

Also, if someone says “racism should not be tolerated,” do you tell them that you’re not going to dictate what other people’s beliefs are too? Because “should not be tolerated” generally means “everyone needs to wake the fuck up and realize what’s going on” and not “people should be forced to do something.”

I’m not sure why you don’t realize that.

I have been repeatedly accidentally targeted by a similar scam, sometimes getting a voicemail every single day because they somehow think I’m my late father, who self-published multiple books.

I totally understand that sentiment, but I would like to point out that by doing this now, she gets a news headline and an article highlighting the work she and the NIH have done, whereas otherwise it would get lost in the sea of firings and department shut downs that are about to happen.

Because people aren’t even going to be thinking about the NIH when they decide to close the Department of Education.
