Is that an AI photo at the top of the article? Or which Palm Pilot model is that?

I think so, it doesn't look like any device from here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palm_(PDA).
The logo is from the first palms, but it's way too curvy
AI photo, check the coins on the left
I think that's the Gen2 or Gen3? I had a couple of them over a few years, and I'm ashamed to say I'm not sure whether I actually had the one in the photo, or the version just prior to it.
It kinda looks like a case/skin for the original Palm Pilot

Sigh.
Palm was brilliant in so many ways. My Treo keyboard was the best. How I hate on-screen keyboards.
I loved my Treo 650
Yeah I had the palm OS Treo for years before switching to a windows OS treo. Those things were tanks. You could beat the crap out of them and they would shrug or off with no case.
If I ever do slightly breath on my iPhone 13 the back glass cracks😠.
Brush yo teeth bruh.
Just kidding 🤪
Seeing those monochrome puke-green LCD screens from the 80s and 90s makes me feel like a kid again.
