No worries, I’m sorry they felt (incorrectly) like admins/mods should never be reported and decided to take it out on you. Hopefully they learn, but I’m guessing they’re pretty young.
This doesn’t help you at all, even if we ignore the other users disability.
Someone reported your post on your instance and community because they thought it broke a rule, even though it didn’t. That happens all the time in communities, we see it here multiple times per day.
Then you PM them, which they didn’t feel the need to reply to. So you then looked for one of their recent comments to attempt to publicly shame them and force them to respond, and are now trying to save face when people tell you you’re wrong.
This isn’t acceptable behavior from a mod or an admin, do better.
Edit: and replying “banned lol” to anyone who disagrees with you, hope after the 3 day ban here you’ll matured a bit.
Preach.
First you said I abused Lemmy rule 1, which I’ve explained it was community rule 1. So now you say I should play favoritism and cherry pick which posts should follow the rules, and which ones shouldn’t.
That’s not how this works, and would create a lot of problems in the bigger communities, mods have to be unbiased and enforce their rules.
Hope you have a better day today my friend.
The reason I removed your post is because it broke rule #1 of our community (as I noted, and you show in the screenshot).
Rule 1- All posts must be legitimate questions. All post titles must include a question.
All posts must be legitimate questions, and all post titles must include a question. Questions that are joke or trolling questions, memes, song lyrics as title, etc. are not allowed here. See Rule 6 for all exceptions.
As someone else has stated, I’m just enforcing the rules, just like I’d hope you would do here in this community that you mod. Honestly I’m a bit surprised you even posted this here, you should understand enforcing your community rules.
Specifically the name calling, without that your comment would have been fine.
We removed rule breaking comments, we are not joining in the argument of who is trolling who.
Just don’t feed the troll, it’s fairly simple. Block and let them get their downvotes.
