Number 1 has issues.

Yes wage growth in 2023 was higher than inflation by a margin of 1.3%. That fails to take into account the 7% and 6.5% inflation of '21 and '22. So people are still way behind in recent years.

Also, while by income rates, “Gen Z are now wealthier than any previous generation.” That doesn't include the drastic increase in housing costs. So while they do have more money, more still have to live with their parents, and delay starting their own separate life, than previous generations. Even that extra money isn't enough.

None of this shit will matter when a fascist dictator is installed.

People's wages don't matter? 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

What sort of clown position is that? Your wage is one single number that defines how you live. That's the most important thing to every working adult esp if you have to take care of other people.

Are you even a liberal or just a brain dead political shill?

I’ve literally never said anything of the sort. Both candidates are utter dogshit and the sooner they log out of Minecraft, the better.

Fake news with this shite again.

The regime said you are good peasants. Wrong think will not be tolerated. Facts have been set.

Facts have been set.

Facts exist independently of what you wish yes.

Wrong think will not be tolerate.

You are perfectly welcome to cover your ears and hum real loud to shut out reality. But if you want to shut out reality WTF are you doing here.

Fake news

You sound like Traitorapist Trump. The guy that both Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz agrees is a "pathological liar".

I am happy your economic fortunes match the headline, dear.

[–] btaf45@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I am happy that the statistically average American has these 10 things in common.

The employees of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics favorite beverage is likely coffee actually. Don't know what it is you smoke, but you should consider quitting, and then come outside to see the real world of reality. Some sunshine would be good for your health.

I hope you get paid for shillimg.

Wages barely out paced inflation this year... What about prior 2 years?

Also, and you have to accept official figures for this to even make sense. Official figures that do voodoo calcs on things like housing cost among other bullshit.

[–] btaf45@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I hope you get paid for shillimg.

Would be nice to be paid for helping people leave reddit. But I'm sure the US Bureau of Labor Statistics don't care who reads their output. They are only paid to collect and publish the data.

What about prior 2 years?

I dunno. If you think that is more important than last year's data, then why don't you look up that information....from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

What a novel and radical idea you just had! Instead of denying reality and facts, learn about additional facts. Congratulations on leveling up.

I am sorry that providing context hurt your feelz

[–] btaf45@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I'm sorry that you are an emotional cripple and who can't communicate like a normal person. Get some help.
