You’d think a lawyer wouldn’t work for a loser that can’t pay their fees. But apparently he still finds ones that are willing…

You can always claim you represented “former presidents of the United States” without having to say it’s Donald Trump or that you lost.

        Not really.

Most people would follow up with “which one? Can I call them for references?”

The reality is that losing a court case isn’t always a “loss” from the lawyer’s perspective.

If your client is guilty, sometimes the win condition is getting a lighter-than-otherwise sentencing or judgement, for example.

But working for trump is stupid. 1) everyone knows he’s guilty, 2) when he loses- and he’s going to be losing ALOT- he’s going to blame shitty lawyers, 3) the kind of “exposure” he provides actually terrible. 4) he doesn’t pay his bills.

Edit: 5) the job is gonna take a shit ton of hours, and 6) you’ll have to get your own lawyer

I think we’ve seen many times now from the people defending Trump (and other situations) that you don’t have to be smart to pass the bar exam.
