Well TIL. Thanks!
Well TIL. Thanks!
I was thinking Switch 2 would be to the Switch what the WiiU was to the Wii: graphical upgrade while maintaining the similar form factor and play style.
I love this game. ♥️
You mean Wii to WiiU?
Wait, doesn’t the 2nd game end on a huge cliffhanger?!
Thank you, alphacyberranger. Keep it up! I’m going to really depend on you in the coming years.
The only focused Democratic message for the past 8+ years has been, “We need to stop Trump,” which I agree with, but without Trump, I can’t think of a single, unified message. That’s not enough to get the general population fired up and excited to vote for Dems. One thing that made Obama so popular was he had specific goals and gave people hope.
Trump, in the meantime, has been feeding people all sorts of promises and hopes and dreams. They’re all terrible and full of shit, but that is a more powerful message than just, “We need to stop Harris.”
If you’re like me, you might not recognize her by name, but she is Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Barbie in Toy Store.
Watching some old MGS3 cutscenes, I can hear it. There’s no way I would’ve guessed it without knowing, but you can hear a little of Ariel in EVA’S voice.
Seems like they shouldn’t be completely shocked since this is his third time leaving the band. I don’t know anything about this guy, but from what the article says, it sounds like he has depression.
Walking outside is free! There are free support groups online. Those require time, but just 20 minutes can make a bigger difference.
The CBT workbook I used was maybe $20, I think. It’s worth the investment.
Finally, getting over depression is all about retraining how you think. It’s going to take time, practice, and effort. Depression wants to show you how you don’t have the resources to beat it. That’s not true. You can beat it, even if you don’t have the resources other people might.
Depression has forever changed me. It’s easy to think that it was for the worst, but I’m more empathetic to people than I was before. Something that helped me was realizing and believing that depression is temporary. You won’t always be like this, even though you might feel that way.
You can do this.
Professional help can be cheap! You just might have to look little harder. For a while, I saw a psychologist who had a deal with a church where they subsidized most of his fee. So it was super cheap for me.
One of the most helpful things for me was Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT. I used a workbook that helped me see how skewed and untrue some of my thinking was.
Finally, walking in nature or, even better, exercise! Find what works for you. I like jump rope. Good luck!
If you haven’t played it, “Stardew Valley” is, like, ruin-your-life good. And I think part of what makes it so faith assuring and life uplifting is that it was made by one dude who has continuously (for YEARS) released huge, free updates for the game. He’s awesome. It feels good supporting him and recommending such a great game to people. :-)
Don’t download Balatro on mobile unless you want to lose your job, family, friends, and health. It’s that addictive.
I’m guessing the Tetris community doesn’t think too much of this game, but I loved Tetrisphere. It was so cool! I guess it’s not included in this, though… :-(
Excellent revision. Would love to see something like this actually implemented, even if it was from an unofficial organization. I think it’d catch on, especially the more people are displaced.
I love it. Just go down the list of companies and conglomerates that produce the most greenhouse emissions. Just put the year after the name to keep things straight.
The lower you are on the list, the less likely people will associate your company with the destruction of their homes and communities.
That’s really cool!
Look up “Visual FX Artists React” on YouTube. And Captain Disillusion. You’ll learn A TON about stuff like this from them!
