Is mobile login still broken? This is not good for instances trying to maintain users.

I agree with this.
Going through the comments some people say downvotes are important for ____ reason, which is actually correct. But that's not how I see it playing out.
And interestingly some comments, especially when you squint and read between the lines, actually show how people are misusing downvotes (I hope I'm not reading into it too much).
In any case when you look at how downvotes actually played out, perfectly fine posts (for their community) were being significantly downvoted. This is the right path, at least until things grow to be larger.
Brigade implies an organized (one way or another) effort, which I don't think it is. This is the result of people browsing 'local' and downvoting what they don't like, when it's entirely suitable for the community it's on.
I think something needs to be done about downvotes. Any hardcore content I post is immediately downvoted. Pretty much all hard content I post gets 5 downvotes. Some recover, some don't.
I think people browse local and most don't seem to like hard content. People here seem to prefer softcore. That's fine, but downvoting is not the response to that.
I think you may have to remove downvotes and people will have to make their own subscription list and browse that. (What I do is browse local and then block the communities that I'm not interested in.)
(I'll copy this to the other thread, but this one seems more active and I want it to be seen.)
That's a pretty niche area. Lemmy's not so massive that niche areas will be populated.
Why so glum?
Now this one...
I'm trying to create a community but nothing happens when I click "Create". What's up?
Very pretty.
Doesn't work on Jerboa. I hope we learned to not be experimental on this unique instance.
