I just wrapped up a delightful trip with my bride of 20 something years and got a job offer for a different position in my company during the trip.
It was a practically perfect trip, but I’m also very excited to go home because I have 4 more days of vacation left and I can’t wait go be reunited with my cats, and relax around the house for a few days.
You think way way way too much of voters if you think Gaza lost her the election. Pardon me if I’m completely misconstruing your comment.
I thought everyone knew you couldn’t fall in love until you had collapsed in lust, or at least stumbled in physical attraction.
Correct. I think the entire premise that an American would question this idea is an indication that the meme was made by somebody from a country with one of these pins in it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending this mindset. I am myself an American making this observation with a sense of shame and mild horror.
Call me insensitive, but as someone who experienced 9/11 as an adult, being able to enjoy actual funny jokes that reference the attack is kind of refreshing, especially jokes created by the generation born after it happened.
I have nothing concrete to base this on, but my observation is this:
A 9/11 joke written by someone who lived through it is more likely to be about 9/11
a 9/11 joke written by someone born after it happened is more likely to use 9/11 to punctuate a joke about something else
Either way, I find the latter group funnier.
Agreed.
But also, ive been noticing that that isn’t going so great lately.
I’ve managed to do this for decades without incident or injury to myself or others.
And chocolate. Cincinatti chili is great
Bookmarking this comment for later when I’m blazed.
I was issued an Elitebook for work. This is truly the best case scenario
This is beautiful but I really want to Photoshop a PS5 controller into her hands.
This is entirely wholesome and yet all of my initial reactions are not. I need to examine myself.
Due to the nature of my work I’ve flown hundreds of passenger flights of all sizes and I still find myself in awe.
What a privilege to be able to actually see down from such a range of heights too. Where there is still lots of detail to be found, but you can also get an appreciation of scale. It’s honestly really amazing.
If I had thought that, using the words “quickly drifting towards” would have really made no sense. But I still see them in my original comment.
Spot on. This thread got me to rewatch it tonight and I gotta say, it hits even harder this close to the election. Almost painfully plausible.
It’s not a true story, but it is a very high fidelity representation of reality.
I understand the sentiment, but this is intrinsically self-defeating if at most one half of the female population participates while the other half if quickly drifting towards the trad-wife high birth rate shit.
It is just math.
Welcome to Costco; I love you.
May you consistently find yourself stuck behind slow walkers that always seem to weave in the direction you’re trying to overtake them from
