Unfortunately the manufacturer doesn’t offer support or replacement parts anymore. My acoustician could semi-fix them for now but I’d rather trial new ones on my own terms and not when I have to.

Are they always connected? Can you listen to music and make calls with them? What is the battery life like? If you used Bluetooth (or wired) headphones: how do they compare in audio quality? Are they directly connected to the phone or do they still need that thing you have to wear around your neck? Which brand/model are they?

IIRC you have to have the app installed on your phone and be in the same network, but it’s been a while.

I did use franz at some point but eventually switched to ferdium, which doesn’t require an account. That being said I haven’t used either for a while now.

Also ich kann mich in GDM anmelden (wobei ich da aber nichts mit dem Touchpad mache), ich kann den Cursor bewegen, aber Klicks (weder als Tap noch als Touchpad-Click) funktionieren einfach nicht.

I can relate, between work and chores, there’s not much time left. The last time I really played was back in school, with people I’ve lost contact with. If I wanted to play now, realistically I’d have to DM which brings us back to the whole lack of time thing.

Just fyi, while it’s possible to have end to end encrypted chats in telegram, they aren’t enabled by default.

Something’s a bit fishy here - are they implying that these mails with sensitive information are getting sent without e2ee?

Also ich sag mal so… Wenn ich eine Nachricht von “der CIA” über Telegramm bekommen würde, die mich auffordert etwas im Darknet zu tun, wäre ich maximal skeptisch und würde sie vermutlich einfach löschen/ignorieren.
