Yep. I’ll keep my Dualsense, thank you very much. The trackpad is invaluable for things like weapon selection, and having the gyro default to on means I don’t have to take my hands off the face buttons to aim. Also, flick stick rules.
Known on another site as Gamiac.

PC
There’s your problem. They’ve been pretty well known in the console marketplace for a long time, and have peripherals dating back to the Super Nintendo.
It’s pretty much a standard feature at this point. Unless you’re an Xbox player.
Apparently the Horipad’s gonna be that. I think I’ll stick with the Dualsense.
Fucking Threads users
Click their name. I’m confused too.
Sounds like they’re the ones in need of new butts.
I’d love how they plan to regulate people buying their own batteries and wiring them up to their own bikes.
Sounds extreme, but that’s the exact same arguments that they use against regulating firearms.

Hmm. Self-organizing projects whose workers work on them entirely based on their need to be done, and the results freely distributed to anyone who wants a copy?
Literal fascism, obviously.
Thanks, /u/SatansMaggotyCumFart.
What is there to think about? I complain about people who support Soviet-style dictatorships having full control over online platforms moderating exactly as one would expect, and I get told by Random Guy On The Internet #368,452 that I’m apparently a hypocrite because wanting action to be taken to stop authoritarians from controlling social networks makes me the real authoritarian or something. All this to “suit my agenda”, which in this case is wanting to be able to say that authoritarians are bad.
God forbid I find arguments like that incoherent and unworthy of taking seriously.
I’m so bored of that line. At least come up with something different.
Good. Lemmy communities need to be as instance-agnostic as possible.
Good. Is development of Lemmy still controlled by tankies?
Yep. Something needs to change if we want Lemmy to be something besides a place for Soviet simps to hide from criticism. Authoritarianism cannot be tolerated.
To be fair, all Prowlarr does is make searching multiple torrent sites easy. That’s basically what this site does.
I mean, that’s the problem you get when so much is readily archived. If whatever’s currently coming out sucks, there’s so much history to pull the greatest hits from that you can just…stop watching new content. For years. Possibly ever.
If media companies want us to consume their products legally, they need to make a version of Prowlarr, but for legal streaming sites.
I’ve been trying. Unfortunately, people in power seem totally unresponsive to the needs of the people. Don’t know what the optimal solution for that is, but historically, the solution is usually something you’re not allowed to encourage on social media.
