  • The reality is, people will treat you so much worse as a trans person. They will just straight up ignore you and pretend like you dont exist. I feel like people are getting dumber by the year. Im not sure why you would believe something like this. I feel like anyone from the 90s or early 2000s would have just understood this easily. People do not listen to cis womens feelings either. The world doesnt care about anyones feelings and feelings are usually a way that people try to get you to feel sorry for them. In fact, i almost know this is the case when it comes to someone like you. The reason is simply because you are too dull to realize that people are not nice to trans people outside of their own social circle, and even then we are often quite shitty to each other. Real feelings are spontanous. Something that happens after a break up or when you lose a job or a friend. Having feelings all the time to me just seems like you want people to take care of you and drag you through life. You want attention. It probably means you refuse to examine yourself and figure out what is actually wrong with you. People only care about your feelings when its valid, not when you are being a piece of shit. Nobody is going to force a girl to date you for example. Nobody is going to feed you. Nobody is going to make you remember to buy your mother or friends a present for their birthday. These are things you have to do. You have to work on your looks, find a job, quit bad habbits, respect people. You cant get mad at someone because they dont want to be your friend, you can’t be mad at a girl because she doesn’t like you. These are not valid feelings. These are you being a manchild. Even if people wanted to baby you through life people cannot afford to do this nor have the time, and when you understand this you will realize that you are being completly unreasonable. Stop complaining and take control of your life. Hate yourself sometimes. Cry sometimes by yourself. Think about a future you would actually like to have and work on it a little when you can.

  • The trucks are very exspensive, ones like in this pic are in the millions. Stuff in this range of price is generally repaired for a long time and kept in service for decades and is built more like industrial equipment. There isnt much on the truck that cannot be replaced. They are also suprisingly strong. This one is probably rated to carry about 80 tons, which means the truck probably weighs atleast as much. So you are looking at 160k ibs before being loaded and over a quarter million pounds when loaded. Every part of that truck has to exceed the shock forces of that at several gs so you can imagine how much of a bitch it is to take off a skid plate or something. You better eat you wheeties. Thats why replacing them is more of a long term process. We have a bunch of 40 ton and some heavier rock trucks like this. We replace them about every 10-20 years but may keep them longer if they are in decent shape. There is no hard limit on their lifespan and generally newer equipment is worse and weaker because of emmisions and saftey equipment. These trucks are more like mining trucks. They usually work in big mines since you have to take the truck apart to transport them on highways or move them on rail. They are not usually worth hauling for smaller jobs because you have to find someone who is willing to assemble and disassemble them.

Many pieces of equipment half this size will have engine replacments, and other major systems replaced in its lifetime. Sometimes axles, transmissions, even cabs and stuff. Companies usually keep some as spares when they get severly damaged to use as parts. This one is probably not damaged as bad as it looks unless they left the engine running after it flipped. The bed is thick steel.

  • Some people just arent cut out for certain jobs. There is no good reason to ever flip that truck that way. Where i work at the only thing that will really get you fired on the spot is doing something really dumb like this, or putting someone else in an unsafe position. Also a few hundred grand is the low end. If the driver is really dumb and xoesnt cut the engine off as soon as he gets done rolling, he will ruin the entire engine which will cost close to a million just for the engine alone.

  • Flipping it back over will be extreamly difficult, probably will require several excavators. Then they will have to inspect the engine, to see if its damaged. If it needs parts, it could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to repair. The truck may need parts or welding as well. They will likely fire the driver who flipped it and replace him with someone. You can learn fairly quick.

  • Whether you are even capable of learning stuff depends entirely on your genetics and epigendtics. Only a few students in any one area will ever retain much knowledge. The thing that actually determines how well your society becomes, tends to be things like how happy the childhood of your citizens are. Very few people ever seek knowledge long term within a healthy lifestyle. School for most kids is just a way to babysit them while the parents work long shifts for corporations.

The tragedy is the kids in south korea hardly get a childhood at all. They stay in ultra competative schools during the day, only to be shuttled off to cram schools in the evening. They are not even human beings in the eyes of their own parents. They exist soley to fullfill the dreams of their parents, which is to hopefully work hard enough to become some executive for one of the seveal corporations that almost completly own the South Korean Economy.

Many of these kids, like many in South Korea will grow up to be massivly depressed alchoholics and workaholics. Never having much of a life beyond serving their managers. This comes out in several ways in the character of Koreans. Many of them are incredibly dark people. Thats why media like the squid games is so popular over there. Behind the venure of a very productive and industrious society where most forgo almost all of their individuality, never even having a childhood. Behind it lies so many incredibly dark and deeply depressed people traped within a virtual prison of wealth and status.

People like this would maybe end up ruling the world, given they work so much, and so hard, yet with their childhood also dies their soul. Their creativity dies, their dreams die, their human spirit is deminished in the hell they create and call progress. The parts of their dna that make them human, slowly whither away under hyper corporatism. Just like everything else in their society a child is nothing more then property. An investment by corporations. A robot that is as equally bland as it is numb. Never does anyone in a society like that actually consider that maybe they dont have a right to dictate every little aspect of their childs life in order to promote what they believe a child should be. So those that feel, those that see deeply the lights in the city nights. Those that see beauty. They die away as the human race regresses day by day.

South Korea has always been a deeply disturbing place to me. A place that is truely inhumane, yet such a beautiful place as well. Behind every woman who looks likes a flight attendent, and every man wearing a suit or dress clothes, is a society which has almost no creativity and soul. No individualism. No happiness. No relationships. Everything is about efficency, everything is about materialism. All the money in the world doesnt matter if you don’t get to fall in love with someone, and have dreams, and watch your kids play and be happy. What is even the point of life it is nothing but work, followed by a few hours a drinking before crashing out for the night, and starting it all over again?

  • Its because of two things. One is that people hog the passing lane or try to pass slowly so it takes them a few minutes to overtake a few cars, and also because people drive at different speeds. Some people drive at the speed that feels comfortable, others drive the state imposed speed limit. This creates pockets of dense traffic, and then people try to pass, but there is always the person who tries to pass as slow as possible because they are going a few mph over the speed limit.

Its really just a bad combination of laws, and drivers who are terrified of breaking the law, and people who dont know how to drive correctly in a way to reduce traffic. Also many people are just never consider that others also need to use the roads. They don’t care about traffic. Some people also have health issues, like blindness, or mental handicaps, which means driving at interstate speeds is about all they can muster.
