  • Liberals and neoliberals are the problem. The only solution is for progressives to start a new party. The DNC just showed that it is incapable of learning, constantly courting the right that will never actually vote for them, or telling billionaire donors to fuck off.

Liberals are just conservatives that refuse to take their masks off. Neoliberals even more so. These are the “white moderates,” and the “supporters of the MIC,” that Martin Luther King Jr., and Eisenhower warned us about.

Bernie showed us the way forward. Billionaires are merely dragons to be slain and ignored.

Wisconsin didn’t vote for Drumph according to the last results. Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia are all wrong on this map.

Virginia voted for Harris. Michigan and Pennsylvania didn’t.

Edit: Maryland also seems to be misrepresented, as they, unsurprisingly, voted for Harris.

Colorado and New Mexico are also unfairly lumped in with the red states on this map.

Edit 2: I find the AP map suspect. Not once since Nixon has the country voted this firmly conservative. I smell foul play with electronic voting machines, especially the ones that don’t provide a paper receipt. Especially since they openly said they were going to hack the voting machines, and Diebold, a company owned by Dick Cheney, makes those voting machines.

Edit 3: Arm yourselves comrades. Crossbows make less noise firing the bolt than hitting your target that is illegally breaking and entering your domicile.

Cops are nothing more than thugs with badges that allow them to kill with impunity. Harlow v Fitzgerald was decided based on slaver lies, not the actual law.

The law won’t save you now.

Create your local communities, but be careful to ostracize the conservative and neo liberal traitors that will turn you in and destroy your community.

  • The wording on the ballot was summarized, but it hit the key points.

    PROP 6

ELIMINATES CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISION ALLOWING INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE FOR INCARCERATED PERSONS. LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. SUMMARY Put on the Ballot by the Legislature

Amends the California Constitution to remove current provision that allows jails and prisons to impose involuntary servitude to punish crime (i.e., forcing incarcerated persons to work). Fiscal Impact: Potential increase or decrease in state and local costs, depending on how work for people in state prison and county jail changes. Any effect likely would not exceed the tens of millions of dollars annually.

    Supporters: Assemblymember Lori Wilson

    Opponents: None submitted

    WHAT YOUR VOTE MEANS

YES A YES vote on this measure means: Involuntary servitude would not be allowed as punishment for crime. State prisons would not be allowed to discipline people in prison who refuse to work.

NO A NO vote on this measure means: Involuntary servitude would continue to be allowed as punishment for crime. ARGUMENTS

PRO Proposition 6 ends slavery in California and upholds human rights and dignity for everyone. It replaces carceral involuntary servitude with voluntary work programs, has bipartisan support, and aligns with national efforts to reform the 13th Amendment. It will prioritize rehabilitation, lower recidivism, and improve public safety, resulting in taxpayer savings.

CON No argument against Proposition 6 was submitted.

That’s what we were all mailed to our particular mail collection place.

On the actual ballot it was clear that a “yes” vote was a vote to abolish the clause in our state constitution that allowed this barbary.

  • The part that was most surprising to me was this:

    ARGUMENTS

No one came out in opposition? Not even the bureau of prisons, or the warden’s union‽‽ And it still didn’t pass?

Edit: I, and all my housemates claim to have, voted for this proposition, and actually all the propositions I had on my ballot in IB to pass. It’s truly disheartening to see that all the other props that mattered less than this one passed, and this one that literally seems to have no downsides is potentially failing.

For reference, the downsides of almost every single other proposition on the IB ballot would increase various taxes, and all of them passed. WTELF you stupid NIMBYS‽‽‽

  • I know “I cast fist” from If The Emperor had a Text To Speech. In that webseries, Big E refers to Marneus Calgar as “Papa Smurf.” Marneus Calgar is the Chaptermaster of The Ultramarines, and he is Ultra-depressed.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s an excellent primer to the lore of Warhammer 40k. It’s like 99% canon, other than the fact that Big E never got a way to talk to anyone in the Imperium after the Horus Humbug happened, and Big E got trapped on The Golden Throne.

  • A former housemate did so much water damage with a portable A/C unit, that not even two months ago I had to rip up the whisper walk, and the original wooden flooring (house was built in the '30s) all the way down to the subfloor. Replacing the whisper walk would have been $3000 for just that room. We managed to find vinyl flooring that matched the rest of the flooring in the house and redid the floor for $1500.

My point is that you can get nice vinyl flooring, and it’s not terribly expensive to replace/ install.
