What is global news?

Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.


Post guidelines

Some did the math on another thread, but 2.8 earthquake -> 240tons TNT -> 2.4KT nuke

240 tons of TNT is 0.24 kT, not 2.4 kT.

I was reading it as 1500TNT is equivalent to a nuke with a 15KT yield. Totally wrong:
