That light deserves a speed & red light camera. But then building your infrastructure like that invites people to drive as if they are on a racing track.
Fresno has an issue with copper thieves. Its really bad. Most of those cameras are only up a couple days before they get messed with. I believe theres work to get them replaced with other materials.
Or they coat them in polonium.
I saw someone do this for the first time in my 20’s and since then I never pull from the light without looking that everyone is stopped. I was nearly tboned by someone doing this. My light was green as I approached and there was a wall to my right so I couldn’t even see him coming. He sped by me while I slammed on the brakes. Scared the shit out of me.
