Gotta disagree Israel's goal is to get the rest of the "holy land" back. That's what it's been since post WWII and that's what it will be until they get what they want. The superpowers of WWII decided to uproot people living in the Israeli region and pushed them to the outter banks of Gaza and further. When the jews began pushing an anti-social campaign against the Palestinians in Gaza just so the jews can claim holy land up to the Mediterranean Sea, it created tension

Just saying that IMO, the original displacement created animosity where the rest of the world told them displaced that "they're over-reacting, and ever since then it's been a suppression of the people in that region with plenty of evidence that Jewish or zionist Israelis were able to uproot people from their house and now claim a complete justification to kill them for reasons such as; elementary students being hamas, injured people and medical staff being hamas, people living their lives and trying to survive, during a modern seige, being hamas. Whose white in this conflict? Both groups are from the Mediterranean (most of the jews living in Israel do not come from Russia and Poland but from other Mediterranean countries). How can Israel be a colonialist when Palestine is an independent entity. Israel has no say in how Palestine is governed, Hamas was elected by the people. Not sure what definition of genocide you are using but the standard one does not fit. Israel is targeting Hamas. While they show a callous disregard for civilian deaths, if Hamas were not usiythu civilian population as human shields the death toll would be dramatically smaller.
