What do you do with your crop? We tend to do salsa and tomato sauce, but the later was always a pain prep wise. I bought a food mill last year, which made seed/skin removal super easy, but found myself wanting chunkier pasta sauce. Iteration! The good news is that it freezes well.
Full disclosure this is my first year with a garden so we’re still enjoying them just fresh on sandwiches and out of hand eating as we’re just getting the first ripe ones now. With 4 plants that are all taller than me though there is going to come a point where we’re going to have more than we can eat so I imagine we’ll probably can and freeze some but it remains to be seen
Haha, enjoy! Be prepared for a few good hauls.
What's the yellow thing under this tiny tomato?
