Things like the flood narrative exist around the world because it actually happened. Christianity isn’t about being a good person- It’s about the fact that we cannot be a good person and how we need a Saviour. A God figure is necessary to redeem us, and whether or not you think He’s necessary doesn’t make Him any less real.
