I thought it could be a good idea to gather valuable resources for people to use whilst foraging! Feel free to comment other suggestions and I'll expand the list periodically. For now the list is minimal and general, but if/when it expands i might categorize them based on region or field of interest. Give us your best resources! ๐Ÿ“š

As much as AI can help identify things, it can also be confidently and completely off. Please be cautious and don't rely on AI identification alone. Look up several pictures from botanical and biology pages - because even image search from Google and other large search engines can be off and/or inconsistent.

In Norway, Artsorakelet from Artsdatabanken is a good free ID app. It warns you not to trust it enough to eat something because of it, but I've found it very useful to sanity check my own IDs, and get a pointer to things I'm not going to eat anyway.
