Yes, there are definitely autistic people who use Mastodon.
Probably…? Not gonna lie, the question is pretty vague, IMHO. What are you looking for, exactly? An active community of autistic people? The presence of people that happen to be autistic you could follow? Plain curiosity about who uses that platform? Opinions/questions about Mastodon from autistic people on this community?
Maybe any of those things, honestly.
I don’t have much friends where I live now.
Feel that. Whereabouts is that? Likely far in Cambodia, but would like a hand with Mastodon.
Used to, left recently. But the autistic community there was easily one of the best parts.
https://aspiechattr.me/ is the one I was on. It randomly closed down without warning.
Thats pretty brutal. There are quite a lot of niche instances iirc but I have no idea if they’re reliable. Neurodifferent.me comes to mind.
Honestly, the amount of time and money needed to run these properly is tough to come up with without donations. If cant blame peeps for not doing it for free. Warning would be nice though.
Do you have any links?
No, but I do remember using the autism(at)a.gup.pe group. Not sure it still exists but I had some nice interactions there.

Yep. It’s great. Check out:

!actuallyautistic@a.gup.pe for Lemmy users
Indubitably
Here, too. My feed’s all about architecture, random ramblings, things of nature, music, and of course, Fediverse stuff.
I feel it pleasant to just curate that raftbox of mine to whatever interests I actively do have at the moment, without the vitriolic banter and doomscrolling most other social media platforms have harbored as of late.
Yup, it’s quite nice.
Anything you want to know?
I do. Sometimes i will post here from over there. It makes me feel like a wizard.
Not seen any, nope.
I do!
Yes, I do. The link is on my profile here.
I am one of them, i find it better than Twitter(I don’t care how Elon Musk wants to call it)
@VanHalbgott We are so many! #ActuallyAutistic (for self/professionnally diagnosed and wondering)
In addition to using the hashtag, follow the @actuallyautistic group.
Tried that. Didn’t work:
