What did >boring job originally say?

[–] breakcore@discuss.tchncs.de 59 points 9 months ago

It said "work is fucking boring as fuck".

Searched for "puppy driver green text". Can we do that instead of guessing?

I want to guess, based on 4chan and the current trend of censoring "dark things", they said something like ">thinking about killing myself".

Which honestly, does more harm than good. Dark thoughts exist. People shouldn't be ashamed to have them. Censoring anything that makes people uncomfortable to that degree limits expression.

spoilerWage slave?

It's probably problematic to say slave now or something idk.

[–] fishos@lemmy.world 15 points 9 months ago

Only happy, goodplus words, sir.

[–] MutilationWave@lemmy.world 6 points 9 months ago

Fuck that shit. Yeah wage slave isn't the same as slave slave but it shares many characteristics.

[–] ComradePorkRoll@lemmy.world 0 points 9 months ago

Probably a slur.

Nothing wrong with bringing your little apprentice for a ride along. Then again tomorrow.

this is pretty much what being a independent contract courier is like.

My dog loved car rides. The first time he got loose, I was driving around looking for him until he recognized my car and ran out into the road in front of me. (It was a good thing that I was driving slowly.) From then on he would make every effort to get out of the house, but then he would just wait by the car. I drove him around the neighborhood a few times whenever he did that.

One of my dogs loves walks. She knows at noon, we go on a walk. Some days she lays on the floor and grumbles for up to an hour before noon. She’ll stand by the baby gate and sigh expressively whenever you walk by.
The only thing she loves more than walks is car rides.

She recently got loose at doggie day care while another dog’s parents were picking them up and jumped in a complete stranger’s car, just waiting for them to take her away. Our daycare guy had to climb in and carry her out. During walks if someone is getting out of their car, we have to physically restrain her. She once tried to jump in a cop car.

What a wild ending

A friend used to invite me to ride along when he started his courier service.

Guess I'm that mans best friend.
