        Okay, that was an attempted joke. Having skimmed the article, I see they’re not catching fish in the traditional sense, but farming them. I envisioned fishing as “you catch what you catch,” so it just seemed strange to me that they would be specifically barred from catching haddock and cod, as if it was something in their direct control. Apparently it is.

          Not that trawlers are especially discriminating. Historically, they just scrape everything and throw the illegal stuff back in the water.
