Is there a community for YouTube content creators ?
There appear to be a few, albeit none are active at the moment, and I think the intent was to consolidate them all to one community on dbzer0. Communities with the same name may be found on Lemmy World (where a pinned post directs people to dbzer0) and Lemmee, where although there’s no pointer to dbzer0, it’s made by the same person, so I’m guessing the same idea may apply.

There may be another with a different name that’s more active, but I’m not sure what it is.
I haven’t seen it. Why not start in this thread. You got some tips/advice?
Mine would be, only talk to 1 audience per channel. You got a gaming channel but want to talk about sailing? Do it on another channel or else your going to confuse your audience and youtube won’t know who to push your future vids to.
Also. Don’t use ending language like ‘to recap’,‘thats just my oppinions’,’ thanks for watching’ and instead feed your audience deeper into your content via end cards. ‘check out this vid for more info on x’

I’d say thanking counts as ending language. Don’t let the party end keep them engaged. If you keep viewers on the platform, YouTube will see that as a good sign and push your vids to more people so they can get more ad views.
And I agree, a thread isn’t good enough. But until this place gets pumping, it’ll have to do.
