I just want to applaud You all for having thick skin; I was looking at all the different posts, and sooo many had sooo many down votes.

Downvotes bug the fuck out of me. How do You all deal with it so well ? Any tips / advice ?

    Tolerance is a social contract. If you fail to be tolerant then the contract no longer protects you.

    That’s not an injustice like you seem to be implying.

        The social contract is about the government and the people

        I’m aware, that is one of the applications of the concept. Which is why I said it was “a social contract”, as in it is a kind of unwritten rule of society, as in “an implicit agreement among the members of a society to cooperate for social benefits”.

        Try to keep up. Stop trying to control the language of others.

        The only people who are intolerant are the liberals

        Funny, only my republican side of the family is homophobic/transphobic. The rest are accepting. You have it backwards.
