      Just saying we have way more jobs than people in mfg, which is why I said “it’s not like we’re hurting for jobs”

        Probably because those jobs mostly suck and treat humans as machinery. Way back when minimum wage was $3.15/hr, I made $8 plus production. I was good enough at it that when I had morning sickness for six months, my boss was at my table while I was vomiting in the bathroom. It still didn’t keep me from going on bedrest for 23 hours a day in my fourth month. Oh and insurance was insurance, no hmo/ppo crap. I never went back. I made more waiting tables four hours a day.
