My thoughts of train was
- you can selfhost it and make it private
- it has comment features (in feed and timeline)
- has mobile app and web interface

IMHO it depends on the theme you use.
try well maintained themes and you will not have that kind of problem. Like gruvbox light.

has lot of color themes. If your terminal of choice can use ANSI colors you can use tinted-shell.
Make sure you don’t use bit subnet masking i. e. 192.168.1.0/24
Use 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 version.

Table alone does not paint the complete picture (and marking Alacritty has no features is too absurd). Alacritty lacks features but exclamation would be better suited (instead of cross).
