I absolutely love mine. Aside from what others have been saying, one of my favorite uses for the Steam Deck has been as a portable media PC. I just carry a USB-C dock along with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse (you could also just use a controller). It’s my new favorite way to play Minecraft - plug the Steam Deck into the TV, connect the wireless keyboard+mouse, and play from the couch. Then, when it’s time to go, I can keep playing in the car. It’s completely changed the way I game.
The media’s even worse. I don’t watch much cable news, but the other day I overheard my grandma watching a segment about “Putin’s plans to create a new Soviet Union”.
Is there a version of that “Xi, Please” image with Putin instead?
it’s pretty easy to come here, getting a Georgian visa is honestly no biggie.
there was one in front of the museum, they took it down unfortunately, its still lying out back somewhere
i visited the museum some years ago, i’d recommend it to everyone. although recently the neolib government made them add a whole section on “stalinist terror”.
if you’re a of stalin, and you’re not socially inept, go give it a visit. you’re also bound to get along with some of the locals. rural Georgians tend to be extremely friendly, and Gori is pretty much all stalinists. knowledge of Russian will help.
As a Georgian, NONE of the protesters I asked could actually tell me what the law was. all that knew was that it was “Russian” and that they needed to burn the city for it.
I recommend reading this interview with Temur Pipia (First Secretary of the Unified Communist Party of Georgia) for better details (there’s also a video of him punching a NAFO member floating around somewhere). It’s an old interview by now but its just as relevant:
he’s still alive in Gori
as a communist, I am very excited for the future of GNOME. let the gosplanning begin. >;)
and something not even worth reposting
i was talking about Wikipedia NATOpedia having a neoliberal bias
everyone has a bias. and i’d much prefer and trust a wiki that openly admits to its Marxist-Leninist bias, rather than a wiki that refuses to admit that it has a neoliberal bias.
unfortunately no, but you could implement it as a ReVanced patch if you really wanted this functionality.
edit: wait nvm its in the revanced settings, you can set whatever custom playback speeds you want to appear in the menu
thing is, i’d proboably have forked over the money for YouTube Premium by now if my only issue with the YouTube app was ads. its not. the app is genuinely unusable for me if I don’t apply the tweaks I need, especially the one to disable Shorts functionality.
rather than allow users to make these tweaks, google would go on a witch hunt for these apps because it would be unprofitable to allow users to avoid the brainrot that is Shorts, or the many another “features” they’ve bogged the app down with.
My Casio lasts for more than 10 years. I’m good.
