The TV can still connect via weave, Amazon sidewalk, or other mesh networks through your neighbors doorbell or thermostat or whatever… Even if you never connect it, it could still report. Have to open it up and destroy the antennas.

And the character, obviously unaware of this, inevitably tries to use their powers and gets your body killed… Preventing you from ever switching back. As this can happen repeatedly, you are doomed to multiverse jumping to random people’s lives until your death… Leaving a trail of ruined out of place lives behind you.

The human mind isn’t infinitely complex. Consciousness has to be a tractable problem imo. I watched Westworld so I’m something of an expert on the matter.
61·5 months agoThey went from abortion nationally legalized to “states rights” as justification for states to choose abortion law… And are now pushing for nationalized abortion bans.
It was never about states rights and never about overreach. It’s about enforcing all of their policies as widely as possible using whatever means possible.
If you can’t see that by now you can’t be helped.

1·8 months agoI’ve heard that one set of nerves registers the ouchies from heat, and a separate set of nerves registers the ouchies from the lead poisoning… So you actually get hellfire ouchies instead of them cancelling out.
8·8 months agoIf it’s assigned seating last is best. If it’s southwest… Being able to pick your seat sooner is better. (And maybe if you have a carry on and don’t want to be forced to checkout)
39·9 months agoIf you and your friend get into a argument over something on the playground, instead of going to a teacher, you both agree to tell your stories to another friend you both agree will be impartial. You then both do what that friend says without involving the teacher.
A pinecil is 25$ and a 40kmah battery pack is 35$, so the combination… 60-70 bucks.
Worse, they start injecting AI generated songs when you’re not paying attention and can keep more of the royalties for themselves
