11·2 years agoMy experience, there have been probably 2-3 instances that soak up and revel in the drama (for both microblogging and Lemmy) - everyone else just blocks bad actors like normal and moves on with their lives.
1·2 years agoAgreed. There is an emerging trend among Fedi artists to use Faircamp, but it doesn’t exactly fill the same void.

I’m curious why you think Deep Rock Galactic is complex. It’s one of the most “pick up and play” friendly games, I think, that I own.
Funny enough, Phish was going to have this at their 2018 festival “Curveball” (cancelled due to intense rains, flooding, and sewage problems in western NY where the festival was taking place). The drummer (Fish) talked about this at some point, I think on a podcast… anyway, they were going to have a shortcut back to the tent camping area but it would have crossed a “mime field”, where dozens of paid mimes would be messing with all the phans coming down off their highs on the way back from the show each night.
4·2 years agoNever heard of this but it sounds fun. It’s a shame it’s out of production. I don’t have a 3D printer so I’ll have to find a service or a friend to make this for me.
