seems like they’re representing the community pretty well since a majority of said community voted them in…
maybe this is what accurate representation looks like with biases and barriers to voting removed

yea id be fine with that…but my worry is apple restricts it to a predefined set of choices with no shortcuts integration at all. which is what they do with triple clicking the side button in accessibility for some reason.
and yea backtap is fine but between the tapping and shortcuts triggering it either doesn’t work or takes way too long. just think shortcuts could use way better integration to other parts of ios including hardware. but should feel more seamless
backed up with bitwarden. me likey both
also this would prob encourage further adoption of the shortcuts app for users and developers. apple could kind of “force them” to use it and further explore how powerful of an app it is.
i know from my own personal experience i dont use the app at all even though ive seen examples of how useful it can be, because it still feels like an overall clunky experience to use and to fully understand.
i consider myself decently tech literate (i made it on here at the very least lol) and have yet to feel the urge to put aside the time to really dig into that app.
theres no way the average iphone user or id wager even the average pro user even knows what the shortcuts app does, let alone uses it effectively.
yea and so mainstream to feel the need to squeeze every fucking penny out of anything humans create
it’s all about education baby
i think people underestimate the impact having access to wikipedia has had on the world. really an amazingly important part of the internet and the sharing of knowledge
first of all…thats not my fetish ;)
also its deceiving. seems like it would be a hole but it’s more like a beauty mark in that it’s an illusion. just never seen anyone else with it til now.
guess you never been around only children with parents who work full time
holy shit didn’t know this was a thing. my gf has this spot
honestly although we aint fuckin with reddit no more, head over to a general thread on match day at /r/soccer and see if links are posted in the comments. usually are…or let’s hope enough people move to lemmy in that time and one of the football communities is up and running with links galore.
or the glory days of reddit are relived and new sport streaming communities pop up on lemmy by that time. i have hope they will, especially as we near the first match
women’s world cup is coming up at the end of the month
i may get some flack for this but i honestly think reddit had it’s best years when alexis was most involved.
Small adhesive rubber bumpers or “feet” that came in a variety of sizes to put on the bottom of things. Was under $5 but has brought me some joy going around my home putting feet on anything that isn’t level or could scratch or makes noise. Something oddly satisfying about it.
this is just one of the sixers logos flipped in a different color… lemmy still has a long way to go for sports discussion. wish it was on par with reddit
