Look, I don’t want to disagree with your point… But I can’t stand by as you suggest that we evolved from cave men… We may have created civilisations, but we’ve not evolved into a civilized creature… We’re still as uncooked as were 60k years ago.

Can’t be solved, says only country in the world where it happens regularly.
Well your first statement is a subtle strawman. Ross said this way is the only way, because no one else is trying, not that it was the right way.
Secondly, fallacy fallacy, just because it’s a false dichotomy doesn’t mean it’s not also correct. Can anyone just start up another initiative now? Not technically, but practically. Or would any serious attempt just join this movement to add to the momentum. Then if this fails, when can another attempt be made, how long till the ‘political will’ burnt by this campaign is regenerated?
It’s such a tired line. You know what everyone finds creepy, people who don’t respect your personal boundaries and don’t understand basic concepts of consent. Neither Money nor looks can make up for that in the slightest.
Care to explain your point with some detail?
If this fails, I doubt we’ll see a second proposal. So I think it would be fair to measure any arguments you make as why no action is better than the proposal.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this petition doesn’t decide the wording of any law just ensures it is brought to attention of EU lawmakers and discussed right?
I see war memorials as a reminder of what we’re trying to avoid, not as a glorification.
Just latex to svg your math for impress.
For real though, it’s such a miss for impress to not have in line math
Not quite correct, if I remember correctly dry soil adsorbs more water and quicker (by default) than waterlogged soil. But when is been dry for a long time a hydrophobic film forms, causing a temporary delay in water adsorption. I think it can impact flash flooding, but it washes off fairly quickly and then adsorption returns to expected.
Slightly more context:
" “I don’t know if we’re going to pull it off,” he wrote, “but looking at our narrative, visual and gameplay plans, I think what we’re working on now will be our best work ever.” "
Easiest way to tell is by level. If you’re level 12, then you’re ready to finish the game and won’t be far of being able to do so. That’s the best way to guess time left, spoiler free. I’ve completed a run in 30 something hours, and I’ve got one that is like 60+ hours long with ages to go.
As someone with two young children, I find playing with childless friends much faster as they can be flexible and play when i find free time than with childed friends on set weekly scheduled.
That doesn’t really mashed any sense, what’s there to cover up. She was drinking with her husband and employees, became unresponsive followed by heavy vomiting.
It was her husband who was asking the police/ doctor for help.
Its not like she is aldi trying to apologise for running around abusing staff and pissing on others event stalls. What’s there to cover up?
I mean, it’s speculation. Current estimated completion is November this year, and the battery power price was already raised to 4c in 2020 estimated https://www.capdyn.com/news/capital-dynamics-and-8minute-solar-energy-partner-on-breakthrough-400mwac-eland/
This would still be cheaper than nuclear. But it’s not a true comparison. I am asking the cost to replace fossil generation. Which means some degrees of over provisioning and redundancy. The bank of America paints a very different picture in its 2023 report (https://advisoranalyst.com/2023/05/11/bofa-the-nuclear-necessity.html/) but I hard trust them.
Either way your evidence from anecdote makes it clear you have as little understanding as I do. So I am still none the wiser if solar + generation is a solution today that makes nuclear irrelevant. If it’s not we can’t just keep burning coal till it is though. People have been saying for 30 years let’s just use renewables. But the world would look very different today if we had transition to nuclear energy back then.
Your statement disagrees with what I could turn up on duckduckgo. Can you provide your sources, I’m not a subject matter expert.
Yes, but your assertion that renewable is cheaper completely ignored the cost of grid scale energy storage suitable to remove fossil fuel generation.
That’s a terrible analogy.
It’s more like, imagine Fords required a connect to a server to run and they turned that server off, stopping a perfectly functional car you purchased from working.
Then you sued them to force them to make the car work without the server.
Both
Wait, what’s your definition of a disease?
Got shadowheart yeeted into lava in that fight, was hilarious but made it a fair bit harder than most for sure.
Nothing yet has compared to telling Gortash where to shove his deal, sorry Wyll. Only fight I’ve had to reload and prep. Helped being rested with all spells (and more lightning spells), but used a lot of consumables to win that one.
I am disappointed that Lorrakane wasn’t harder. It was a cool idea, but I think the AI needs to have him retreat and throw down some big spells not just rely on the rebuke damage as a deterrent.
If people could delay their gratification, and just not buy form scalpers then more chips will become available, and will get greater profits and the scalpers will be left holding the bag.
Win win win.
