I think I figured it out. I had to search for the community name/label (not sure what the term) in the search feature of lemmy.world. For example: !golang@lemmy.ml
If what I just did is the official way to find communities, I would suggest (for the Lemmy developers) to not force users to go through this process.
My concerns:
How will folks know that this is the right process? I had to ask here
If this is the right process, I think it’s too complicated for the casual user
Thanks. The problem with this approach is I rely on luck (or whatever algorithm) to bump into a community I want. I want so simply search for a term and this lead me to all the communities that might be relevant to me.
