playstation 3 can play bluray, so if this was the next generation of consoles stuart little 2 on bluray would’ve still caused the playstation to be bought

the foss projects help a lot, especially cause the official steam versions do not play well with linux!

eevee had a good reason to make lexy’s labyrinth, cause even cc1 (free to play on steam) doesn’t work properly under proton! when you finally beat the “P (HRESULT = 0x80004003)” error that crashes the game, it plays the music only ONCE, and after you beat a level, the game becomes silent

tileworld has no music, but at least the game actually runs with no crashes! lexy’s labyrinth does have music, but no way to change the tunes

as i said, chuck sommerville liked tileworld for preservation and personally asked the developer to make a windows version. funny how the original reason for the foss port’s creation (can’t be played on linux normally) still lives on, as the official way to play the game is not a viable option for linux users as of writing this reply!

i started playing foss games when my inlaw installed linux mint on a random apple macintosh computer he had lying around. minetest, supertux, all that jazz. then i moved to linux due to windows 11 looming in, and then bam. foss sweep.

foss games are genuinely good and that’s why i try to make these posts, because i genuinely like these games :D
