  • Honestly from the comments I’ve been reading and seeing first hand how society stigmatises and judges sex workers, it does honestly make me feel completely hopeless about the world esp as sex workers are often never seen as human in general, despite what other people would put up with mistreatment, coercion sending nudes, yet shame ppl that do this work for a living, which is just so fucked up and so backwards. Sex workers should be treated with dignity and respected. Not the other way around. They are just trying to earn a living, like most of us are.

  • Mine is……

    1. Wafrn (endless customisations unlike Misskey and Sharkey) and has react buttons too with extra features such as anonymous questions etc. Basically Tumblr but way better and FOSS too.

    2. Mastodon, very stable, great way to find out current events with minimal reactive posts etc. It just works.

    3. Mbin, a very much more stable and regularly updated fork of kbin, and getting the best of both worlds without having to use Lemmy, due to the problematic nature of Lemmy creators.

    4. BookWyrm, ethical version of GoodReads (and gives you control to add books that are not on the system, enhancing your experience and overall much better than GoodReads imo.

  • As a relative to a parent, who’s grandparents didn’t even want them but had to give birth to my parents, due to society stigma at the time, it honestly genuinely not worth it, esp with the amount of trauma my parent (dad) had to endure, due to not being loved and cared for, which has lead to further trauma extended to me too, due to unresolved pain. Abortion is a necessity. It saves lives alongside, helping people not suffer from further trauma and pain for the future for themselves and kids as well.

  • I refuse to support a corporate platform, whilst also adding nothing new to the agenda as well to make me want to go on Bluesky, so therefore I’m sticking with Mastodon/Fedi atm. Much more ethical that way.

Also much more fun and positive too with liked minded people on there too (except the Israel/Palestine stuff, which seems to be super divisive for some odd reasons in which it really shouldn’t be controversial at all but I digress tbh)

Also a way to say “fuck you” to Jack Dorsey too, who has ruined the internet, thanks to him tbh lol despite not being part of the Bluesky board anymore.
