I was really psyched about AI when it first hit my news feed. Now I’m less than impressed. Most generalist AI platforms get things wrong constantly. Having an LLM trained on specific things, like math or science or maybe law, I could see being useful.

We’re at the “AI everything” phase instead of the “AI what makes sense” phase.

10 days ago we were at 4 cases in Washington. Things are heating up.

Sadly some of the fastest reporting is still happening on twitter. BNO News is well regarded in terms of reporting on viral outbreaks (ever since COVID), so I’d still trust their reporting.

I think it was a motion sensor at one point. The face plate fell off and it had the standard blurred plastic that is on most of them.

Honestly I have no idea where they terminate. The keypad doesn’t work. I’ve tried pressing buttons on it before and nothing happens. I was going to cut and cap the wires, but figured I’d double check ahead of time.

I have other electrical work I need done, so may just lump this into the same work order.

They’re going to get sued into oblivion, so that’s one alternative path forward.
