The “first of his name” is essential. He also has loads of nicknames. Like Cleetorus. We love loudly calling for Cleetorus when he’s running down the street.

I certainly don’t mean to shame you for what seems to be a desire to play the game without being propositioned for sex at all. That seems to me to be a completely different thing than wanting to remove a particular sexuality from the game but leaving others intact.
It’s funny how much this comment mirrors the experience of LGBT people left and right. Do you think it’s not awkward for a lesbian to “have to straight up reject” their male “friends” who come on to them? Or gay men and their female “friends”, or asexuals and literally anyone.
If I’m not paid for ALL the time I am required to be on-site and available to my employer (including for security purposes), I’m finding another job asap. Don’t give your time away without being compensated for it.
And I still never saw the way the orange slayed the rake!
It’s not even 8:30 AM and the internet has already made me feel old. Brb gotta go take my medication for my back pain and queue up some techno on WinAmp.
Indeed. It doesn’t help that anxiety has multiple causes, some of which overlap and compound each other. I couldn’t have gotten a handle on my anxiety without medication, but in my case I also couldn’t have done it without a great therapist who took the time to get to know me and help me learn the various factors that were contributing to my particular stew of neuroses. Telling me to just breathe or exercise or meditate would not have done shit for me although ironically all of those things are part of my routine now but only after a long road of trial and error and practice.
Yeah here in the good ol (hahahaha) USA most establishments have a separate “restroom” for men and women which consist of a row of sinks for washing up and a number of stalls for toilets (and urinals in men’s rooms of course).
Sometimes the urinals are just in a row on the wall with no dividers between. But there’s usually one or two disabled stalls as well, although they’re not locked in any way.
Most of the disabled stalls I’ve encountered (at least in the US) are within the gendered bathrooms. So even if the stall is nominally gender neutral one first has to enter the men’s room or women’s room.
Yup it is a skill and one that studies show people tend to overestimate their abilities with. All the more reason to invest as a society in alternative transportation and heavily cut down on the overall number of drivers behind the wheel.
Are these newer models or in poor condition or something? I’ve driven well maintained older Prius, Civic, and Accord vehicles without these issues and I LOVED how the Civic handled all around.
Is this a European car thing or a driver skill issue? As an American I’ve never had a problem maintaining slow speeds in any vehicle I’ve driven - manual or automatic.
I definitely know what you’re talking about. I think “She Zoramet” off of CV2 has a lot of guttural noises that are straight up funky and could definitely be abrasive for some. For me though it just works in a weird way. And you got me again — I do probably miss out on a good number of rare tracks simply by nature of doing most of my streaming through Spotify, because the whole family is on the plan making it super cheap for me.
I used to get sick listening to music with a lot of bass but thankfully after puberty my sensory issues are mostly limited to touch although there are some high pitched sounds that are agonizing but I attribute that more to tinnitus. I was totally unaware of that track you linked, I’m excited to give it a listen later when I’m in my car.
It’s definitely a divisive one, most of my friends that enjoy the rest of their stuff are pretty meh on it but I can’t get enough of it. I definitely haven’t played any other album start to finish even half as much as that one.
Most definitely not. Aaaaaand now I think I’ll start the day off with Converting Vegetarians II haha.
While I first heard Bust a Move probably around 2002 I was way too young to really appreciate it. I got reintroduced to their stuff when a friend threw on “The Pretender” in late 2016 and blew my mind. Since then I’ve favorited over 150 tracks off of 44 releases, which is absolutely insane as most of my other favorite artists top out at maybe 30 tracks. I was lucky enough to get to see them perform a DJ set in 2019 where I heard the first half of “Ani Mevushal” before it was released which was amazing. I would love to get the chance to see them again.
I always love running across other IM fans in the wild. Those guys’ music has such a special place in my heart for personal sentimental reasons but it’s also consistently some of the most unique, varied, and surprising stuff I listen to, and I listen to a lot of EDM/IDM.
They’re just butthurt that they’re not being allowed to spew their hot takes all over this community as a captive audience that isn’t interested.
