ethereum moved to proof of stake sometime back. BTC and I think a few other (very) minor cryptos still use proof of work which is where the significant power usage goes. Not something I track but I believe the vast majority of non-BTC cyptos are proof of stake or something not proof of work anyway and BTC is the only one that uses proof of work and is used at all. That might not exactly be technically correct but it is in the practical realm.
If he had to worry about simple things in life like food, shelter and paying the rent perhaps he’d be a bit more grounded in what’s important in life and not lose sleep over a potential problem and stop a life equivalent of shitposting on humanity. Perhaps being a billionaire should be seen as a type of mental health issue.

My Intel Arc 750 works quite well at 1080 and is perfectly sufficient for me. If people need hyper refresh rates and resolution and all all the bells well then have fun paying for it. But if you need functional, competent gaming, at US$200 Arc is nice.

I had the Baratza Encore for years and it served me well. I replaced the burrs once and it needed that again since I got a coffee bean-sized small rock in my beans that wore them down by the time I could turn it off. The grinder did an admirable job of attempting to grind down the stone but didn’t succeed. The grinder still worked but it was grinding very slowly. I could have replaced the burrs again which I will and that grinder will go to the office for use but it had been requested that I get a more quiet grinder. It is not that the Encore is so loud but it’s an electric grinder after all.
So in my research, I came across the 1Zpresso manual grinders. I ended up with the K-Max. It’s great and I highly recommend it. I’m only grinding 18g of coffee at a time for my cup but it’s pretty fast, easy, and quiet. If you are grinding a lot of coffee it might be too annoying. As far as grind quality I think it does a better job than the Encore and it just feels great to use. Anyway, an option people might want to consider.

Now that’s a great idea. I’ve been using NextDNS which works quite well and I stay in its free usage cap, but still being self-reliant is better. I’ll check that one out.
I have not been back to play D1 or D2 since the olden days but I know I played D2 a lot more. Great memories. I picked up D3 very late and played through once and lost interest - it just felt bland. When D2R came out I was excited for a min but after watching a few reviews decided to leave my nostalgia alone.
Now D4, I really wanted to wait to get it but I could not resist. My feelings echo yours and I struggled to even finish the story and I have not gone back yet. I played a lot of PoE over the years and the sense of progression with power, builds, and mechanics, you get from can be amazing. It has its rough edges but it has a satisfying payoff (up to a point). D4 has no payoff at almost any stage, at least for me. And according to my memory didn’t have the gameplay enjoyment of D2 and not close to PoE.
Crawl issues I am sure but also user experience issues. Google is sensitive to sending visitors to sites where metrics indicate users do not, like bounce rates etc. I don’t use twt but if it is the case you have the be logged in to see anything now, a non-logged in user will click a link from Google hit a login page, and use the back button. I would assume Google will see that as a bad search result and use it less.
