I’m an ex-christian whose read basically the entire Bible. I’m amazed how many boxes he checks but my Christian parents who support him don’t agree.

If there is actually a god (of the Christian variety), then there is a very high chance that trump is the anti-christ.

For an adult to get SRS in the US, they generally need to have two letters from therapists supporting the surgery (for both surgeon requirements and insurance), and insurance that actually covers it (unless they wanna pay like $100k out of pocket). But no, teachers are just doing it to kids for free.

Why would it get worse, materially, let alone 10 times? Harris has promised to never cease giving Israel bombs to “defend itself,” what’s Trump going to do to make it worse?

Because Republicans are entirely fans of Israel and would do anything to help them… This is common information, have you been living under a fucking rock? Republicans have repeatedly shown that they will help Israel.

Spoiler: there will not be that candidate. Next election in 4 years, if there are any Palestinians left, there will still be 2 Zionist candidates representing the DNC and GOP, and the anti-genocide candidates will be 3rd parties with little to no chance of winning.

Nobody knows that for sure. If people care about it, they will run for office. It sounds like you prioritize the presidential elections and ignore local elections, because those are what matter in getting “that candidate”.

So Trump gets elected, the genocide gets 10x worse, the right allows Israel to completely demolish Palastine and take their land.

Kamala gets elected, genocide might continue for a while, but at least we have time and still have a democracy and the chance to vote in people who will condemn genocide.

There is an effectively zero chance of any third party candidate winning the election, so if you care so much about genocide, throwing your vote away to third party where you would have otherwise voted for Kamala is essentially taking away a vote from Kamala and giving it to Trump, supporting even further genocide.

We had our wedding at our house in the backyard, no DJ, a discounted cake from my wife’s work (a bakery), catering from a BBQ place. Still ended up costing just about 2k, after food, flowers, and rented tables and chairs.

On the flip side, I once had a super vivid dream that my wife started ghosting me, and left me for someone else. Years passed and I was still alone, lost interest in all of my hobbies, had to get rid of our pets, and I caught up with her randomly and she looked like she was much happier and better off, and I was so upset in the dream that I considered suicide. Woke up and was relieved that it was just a dream, but frustrated with my brain for putting me through all of that.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Thankfully I have an extremely supportive and loving wife, and ironically her family is somehow accepting of me despite also being trump supporters… Sigh.

I’m still working on growing my chosen family, but I have a very kind neighbor who is accepting of me as well who is becoming somewhat of a father figure for me, so I guess that kinda works.

Going to take a wild guess at that name. But ffs, they could at least aim for a compromise at “Christine” or something. Assholes.

Well, unfortunately for them they won’t be seeing me anymore since I cut them off. They named all of their children (4 others) with some reference to the religion and I guess they’re super offended that I don’t want to use that name at all.

My brother-in-law is completely off the deep end thanks to his Catholic pastor going full MAGA. No idea what to do with him except tune him out and keep an open line exclusively with my nieces, who are still very cute and chill despite him.

That’s really a shame. I know there are some accepting religious people but they seem to be very few and far between.
