Interesting concept, might be a good mod tool too to be able to limit instance interaction on a community level
That’s not unusual, imo high refresh rates on phones are a bit of a marketing tactic bc they don’t really have the computation power to support it when it counts (no one really cares if a static GUI is shown at 120 Hz but it is a waste of battery, you want it for gaming, videos, etc)
No dash maybe? OtterMod? OtterModBot?
I’m a big fan of Endless Ocean 2 which came out in 2009 but you need to use Dolphin to run it on PC (also torrent the disc files unless you can find a disc copy). Also it’s still the best diving game out there which is kind of crazy considering how old it is
That is an ad, they just posted it instead of paying LinkedIn
Step 1: Read How to make friends and influence people. Step 2: Cry, bc half the book is “listen and pay attention”
Tbh I think an instance not enforcing tagging content as nsfw is probably very strong grounds for blocking imo
It’s not like you could have polled users that hadn’t joined yet anyways. Maybe the blocked list could be made more visible so people could be informed early on before they get too invested in their account?
People certainly code as a hobby or have personal projects. But I wouldn’t say reading a textbook is fun for me, if I want to make a personal app then I’ll just learn what I need as I go.
What about filtering on the frontend like in Boost?
I’ll start, I like freezing pumpkin bread with chopped nuts and chocolate chips (who am I kidding, this is basically cake) to throw in my lunch box or just pull out of the freezer for a quick cold snack. Recipe: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/pumpkin-chocolate-chip-bread/ I’ve also tried zucchini bread/cake but the canned pumpkin puree is so much easier to deal with and does not go bad if I forget about it.
Did you check if your city will take them? Sometimes you need to go a specific dropoff site but usually they have instructions for household hazardous material
