Of the two I definitely prefer the original DS version. I feel like the 3DS additions, while good in a vacuum, tamper and dilute what I see is a VERY carefully crafted world and story in ways I can’t spoil. I have preferences for the DS version’s art and even gameplay as well.
Both are great, though. You’re getting Radiant Historia either way.
For the NDS I recommend Radiant Historia. It has an excellent story and the same composer as the Mario RPG games. It’s as “hidden gem” as it gets
Even if we use the worst interpretation, companies were still making and distributing beastly and reliable chips 10 years ago. I should know, I’m using a 10 year old chip.
EDIT: Specifically, it’s the i7 4790k. 4.4 GHz, 4 cores, 8 threads, it may not be as good as chips nowadays but it’s never disappointed me in the long time I’ve had it.
I love 2D Zelda. Yet to play Issac but I want to.
Yeah. Obviously including Zelda itself.
Play recently? Slay the Spire. That game’s actually really popular in the PRC so I did a run in simplified Chinese to test my knowledge of the game.
Favorite genre? Action Adventure. Stuff like Zelda
Anticipated games in 2024? Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Corporal punishment is CSA.
EDIT: I read corporal punishment and assumed spanking, my mistake. I stand by that point and say that the “punishments” described here are abuse as well. Preaching to the choir, I know.
We’re going to start saying “megameters” at this rate.
Take all the time you wish.
I have indeed, thank you.
Funny. Last time I was in one of these threads, I was asked what game I was looking forward to. It was long enough ago that my answer was “BoTW 2.” My answer to the current question? Tears of The Kingdom.
This is one of my favorite games of all time, so I may be biased. The game portrays Arstotzka as a flawed country in decline yet still better for its people than every other country on the map. Seeing how the game takes place in the 80s, and that there’s a revolutionary group who wishes to combat the corrupt and greedy and bring Arstotzka back to its prime, I’d say it tries to represent the declining Soviet Union.
I remember a trans comrade speaking on this phenomenon in 2018.
Communist parties do not have a perfect or perhaps even the best track record with regards to progressive issues. I don’t blame communism for this, just saying that it’s dangerous to assume we’re immune to adopting dangerous and foolish social beliefs.
