He’s really good at drawing rain for sure
The first character 现 can be translated as “now” but in this context it’s better translated as “fresh caught carp”
I have been mentally keeping track how often I see “formerly Twitter” and I’m surprised that it’s lasted this long tbh
Them: make fun of men by pretending to be dumb My dumb ass: have a good time being able to info dump

Cat’s purr
Damn, the Inspector armour looks pretty good. I like the helmet especially.
I’m fascinated by how many complete pairs there are. I wonder if she took them in one trip or not?
Laws not stopping murder doesn’t mean laws against murder are useless
I read it as B52 at first and wondered how the building survives
I mean if you want to suck the fun out of it only 4/22 of horseshoe crab species survived.
Saying any species not evolving for millions of years is a misnomer anyway. A living fossil only superficially resemble ancient species. Since both nautilus and horseshoe crabs are considered living fossils I thought it’s a fair comparison.
But this is a silly little comic ultimately about the existential dread of modern human life so this level of pedantry isn’t needed.
GTA 5 used an in-house engine (used previously, sure, but StarEngine is also modified from a pre-existing engine). The combined development and marketing budget is US$265 million. Development started in 2008 and released in 2013.
Cyberpunk 2077 also used an in-house engine, budget (not sure if marketing is included or not) is US$316 million. Development started in 2012 and released in 2020.
To put it to perspective Star Citizen’s Kickstarter started on 2012. GTA 5 released on 2013, and GTA 6 is supposed to be out in 2025. If it doesn’t get delayed too significantly we will get 2 full GTA games before SC is released.
The death spiral continues
I live in Canada, so whatever happens in the States would affect us, but we can’t really do anything about it. I would be lying if i say I’m not at least a little bit nervous about the results. But just like many things in life, I try to practice to only worry about things that I have control over, and let whatever I don’t have control over be.
You’ve correctly identified that you’re doom scrolling. Like many others have said, it’s probably a good idea to try and limit your news consumption, at least for a little while.
