Ah, nice. Thanks! :-)
This song (and the video) is so much fun
I guess he did a great job! :-)
So they have someone for mixing? I thought Liam Howlett would do that himself?
Back then it was a place for us nerds, techies, early adopters.
Now it’s a place dominated by the rest of the world. Including all the bad stuff like politics, big corporations and ads.
It was nice for a while… We need a new place :-)
This might just be the best song ever.
Groooovy
Lewis? According to interviews they optimized for racing instead of qualification (and they said something along the lines of “maybe we pushed it a bit too far but we won’t be sure until after the race”).
Looking forward to Lewis making up some places :-)
LOL phrased oddly? English is not my first language.
I thought it was common knowledge that paying for something (console) and owning it was not the same these days, so I just want to know what I am buying…
Addicted to Vault Hunters right now. It’s awesome! Also it’s more a game in itself and if you come in without any prior knowledge it will be hard. There is a quest book but it doesn’t cover everything.
I’ve even joined a server!
Sounds like a good challenge… good luck!
Project Phoenix: Rebirth
According to their page on curseforge:
After 3 year of waiting for a sequel to the beloved Project Ozone 3 a small group of fans of the trilogy have come together to create what we would want to see in a Project Ozone 4.
Until now it has been a fun experience. I think it is made for more experienced modded players as the explanations are often very short and don’t give hints on how to get there, but the order of the quests is good so everything works and sometimes I need to read the manual for a modpack to see how it actually works but that’s ok.
Before this I spent a week in Encrypted_, it’s very different which was fun but I was often very lost in searching for the right steps. At some point you need some resource and I had no clue how to get there except for searching through JEI-recipes for 20 minutes. I found a tip on their discord “use beetroots for iron” and that was great, but it was not something I would have found on my own except maybe with some pure luck. The make of the modpack is new to the scene I think, so I am following him for more modpacks because he invests in a story behind the modpack which is great.
What is it?
I have no clue what partysite is.
For my closed headphones, which are most critical for me: something I can save up for.
For the living room: amp + speakers should be affordable. My living room is not audiophile proof and will never be so getting the best gear is just lost money.
In-ears: i take these everywhere for calls or some music in transport. So they should be kinda dispensible, so if an audiophile tells me “this is good value for a low price” I’ll take it.
I did not include numbers on purpose, right now I have a good income so €50 is “cheap” but in other times in my life that would have been a big purchase that I would rather spend on things like food or a warm coat :-)
It is a luxury thing after all.
Concrete slabs
Interesting.
As a Dev I understand some of those words but with no experience in Minecraft modding I cannot add much to the discussion.
I am wondering why the mixins framework is not releasing new versions. It’s not abandoned but there are PRs that are from 2021 and no activity? There’s a story there.
(I have also been looking forward to how the differences between Forge and Neoforge will work out).
Cant find anything about it, so I guess not.
I also find the ECH proposal is still in draft. Browser support is there, but it also needs support from DNS servers? And endpoints ofcourse.
Last episode there we 2 or 3 runs where I thought: yep, that’s it, you’re doomed. And he still made it out.
It’s awesome to watch how his mind works (always have been) and how well it works under pressure.
Yes. Lots of Etho:-)
How is that related?
Geyser had some issues lately. I run geyser standalone on a vps on the web, the server itself is in my home. The geyser server would sit at 100% CPU all the time. From what i understand: they had an issue recently that would hackers use geyser to run DDoS attacks. It was fixed but the hackers still try to connect. All the time.
I don’t know if it is released yet (check their Discord) but they quickly released a patched version that would rate limit connection attempts (block the IP after X attempts). This fixed the issue for me.
