Edit: Turns out that Harambe getting that many votes is probably a hoax. I looked through the official 2016 election summary and all I found was Rhode Island had 15 votes for him.

Had to watch a couple of these in American driving school in high school.
I mean if you get it in bulk it might be cheaper… but at the same time that would probably be really hard to make and take a major portion of the tungsten supply to make.
Considering the second language, my guess is that they didn’t have any 13 yo with a great grasp of the English language around.
32·20 days agoYes. The more you know of another culture, the more you can interface with it and its people.
I guess the real problem would be that people wouldn’t get references. I know any anime that involves historical figures or legends I don’t get a lot of the jokes and references. If a major portion of the entertainment value is from references you can easily alienate foreign audiences. If it’s a new, alien, story it could be pretty cool, though.

4·1 month agoMakes sense since usually we don’t think of those as part of a school, moreso for housing.
Milk cows have larger breasts than necessary, but that’s from artificial breeding rather than any sort of evolution or adaptation.
7·1 month agoI have one of those Japanese nail clippers. I’m wondering how they make it cut so softly. Like even if it didn’t eat the nails they wouldn’t launch. Best clippers ever, even if it’s harder to get the edges.
Same sort of argument for more government surveillance. “I have nothing to hide”. Yeah, you have nothing to hide from the government, but what about your crazy ex? Overbearing parent? Because all it takes is one hack and now your information is available to anyone who’ll pay, maybe even for free at some point.
