This is exactly what trinkets are meant for, to give new gameplay elements

Which trinkets are purely beneficial?

I really like it, but I’m a very daring player. I liked salt cube before the buffs as well

The censer also shoots out very beneficial gases in some situations. Shrouding fog just being purely beneficial to the player

The censer shoots the gas far enough that getting caught on it is rarely an occurrence for me

I could make a case for all of those things, literally none of them are useless. Some other time 🤔

But you should play around more to find uses of items and everything else

Some things have synergies with other things.

Except the amulet of yendor, but that’s supposed to be the last item you get

I updated through the playstore, and I missed the Beta 5. Was there anything important there?

I see the Salt Cube got some sort of buff, but aside from that, what else changed?

The thing is, putting everything on armor doesn’t get you magic resistance.

I like tenacity more, but I understand

Also including arcana with a good defensive glyph, evasion, and haste

I think it’s the best defensive ring in the game

The ring itself is just straight up, honest damage reduction, both physical and magical.

It’s also not your only source of damage reduction, so you stack it on top of other forms of damage reduction, there’s a lot of them

Evasion, shields, armor, utility, buffs and debuffs, sustain. All those things are enhanced by the ring of tenacity.

It’s kind of the same logic for the warrior Hold fast ability (3-6 armor) and the warden’s Barkskin ability ( 0-150% of her level, it goes up to 0-45 armor at level 30)

Even if the Warden blocks significantly more damage, the warrior gets more benefit from the extra armor since he has a passive shield to back it up

I love the look of the new journal, and the custom notes are gonna be a life saver.

I do have some questions, even tho I feel like it’s a problem with my phone

Is it possible to add an option to scroll through notes? I can’t seem to do it, and I take a lot of notes

Also auto correct 🤔 the option to use it seems to disappear when I try to type.

Interesting idea, how many variations are there

Are there any variations for entering boss floors? I think that would be really neat. Like when entering floor 10, you get a splash art of a single locked cell or something like that
