DC actually has a higher “let go” threshold than AC does so you’d likely be more okay from a slightly higher voltage DC shock than a lower voltage AC shock.

Have you seen the Thunder Sting reboot of Lord of the Ring? I’ve heard that Frodo hangs dong.
Where? I have never experienced this before.
The IEEE reference style guide actually often works just like this, the entire reference is just a number in brackets in the text and then the details of the reference is in the bibliography at the end. For example
...a high correlation as shown in [5]...

I’d just like to note that a lot of storage technologies that are currently in the pilot project stage are based on using components with existing supply lines to minimize the time and effort needed to scale up production.
What do you mean AC “lets you go”? AC causes muscle contractions which keep you from, for example, letting go of a live wire.
In my experience, cold woman is cold for about 8 seconds after she’s fallen asleep, then she turns into a living furnace and man turns into living sweat.
Yes, but have you considered: Tesla line go up. Elon CEO. When Elon CEO, Twitter line go up. Logic.
Can’t change the past, only decide what to do in the future. I agree that it should have been done straight away but perfect shouldn’t be the enemy of good, going back to check up on it is better than not doing anything.
My personal hope is that this is the end of the Russian Federation. It’s an enormous country which has oppressed and subjugated a bunch of different cultural and ethnic groups to homogenize Russian society according to the leaders’ ideals for a long time and I think it would be better if it was split into smaller countries that would hopefully allow for actual democracy closer to the people.

As far as I remember, it is Norway that has a law requiring social media influencers to label their pictures if they have been altered and it’s France that requires models to stay over a certain BMI. I think both laws are good, but the latter one should maybe be adjusted to not strictly look at BMI as it would, for example, impact tall models differently than short ones.
I would blame more of it on social conditioning than on genetics. Our instincts and urges provide a baseline to steer us in the direction that historically has been beneficial to for survival, but those are not what ultimately what decide our actions, nor are they always even beneficial.
One example comes to mind is men not talking about their feelings, not only does it exacerbate mental health issues and cause a great deal of personal anguish and even death, it also increases the likelihood of interpersonal violence which is bad for society at large.
I think the reason why people react the way they do is not because they are trolls but rather because it very much comes off as you making excuses for pedophilia, which is already a very sensitive subject to talk about.
Against my better judgement I’m gonna try to respond to this.
You don’t think there’s an evolutionary advantage to getting at girls first when they’re young as possible before other guys do?
To begin with, prepubescent girls can’t get pregnant. After that, young girls have an increased risk of not being able to carry a pregnancy to term, dying in childbirth, and of birthing children who end up underdeveloped.
You don’t think that advantage from that behavior got passed into genes?
No, then it would likely be more commonplace instead of being abnormal.
Youth generally comes with all the indicators of health.
I strongly disagree with this assessment when it comes to people who have not physically developed into adulthood yet.
Behavior is not generally without reason. Everything is because of reasons.
Sometimes those reasons are because something has gone wrong. Or because of random chance. To think every behavior fulfills an intended purpose that is evolutionarily beneficial is unscientific in my view.
Oh absolutely, that right there is annihilation in a picture. You wouldn’t even see the lines, just a wall of nuclear blasts. It feels surreal that this is something that not only exists but that humans, human individuals, have access to in the thousands.
That was my laptop background for a really long time, almost feels nostalgic to see it again!
Not only that but it makes it easier to care about one another, which gives a greater incentive to unionize.
