I agree. There is an added layer of depersonalization, but it’s still real life, just like driving in traffic. The same people who would be courteous in person could be cutting you off and being freely offensive on the road. The interactions are no less real, maybe even more real than some situations that prescribe some distancing, like a job interview or talking to a coworker, depending on how close you are.

Yes: stay away and do not join. Seek real progress and learning outside of avoidance, superstition, and bias.

    Sincerely,

an adult on an ongoing journey to deconstruct different traumas from being raised in said high-demand cult.

(Also, I can confirm the promise of a planet was canon, and infinitely more than just a single planet. But they recently decided to downplay that part of the doctrine, and some members now deny that there was ever a promise of achieving godhood. The cult always has a justification, and most members are more than satisfied with mental gymnastics.)

  • The particular one in this post seems to not have been found in the wild, as the source image is the same as the product listing on the Obvious Plant website.

I haven’t yet seen a post of someone genuinely coming across the products in the wild. But I do know that these do get randomly planted in stores, except for food items, which are removed right after any nominal pictures in order to avoid legal trouble.

Objectively, I fully believe what you said. I just wish I could subjectively accept it in my heart as well and no longer feel worry about what others think.

Admittedly, there is value in being aware of social expectations and its nuances. What I want is to find out how to have the sensibility without the anxiety.

  • I’m still playing Breath of the Wild because I never finished it on Master Mode. I can’t believe I waited so long for the sequel, yet the release snuck up on me! In a way, it kind of prolongs the excitement. Thanks for holding back the spoilers!

How are you liking Tears of the Kingdom in general? Better? The same? Complementary? From the trailers, I was worried it might become a bit gimmicky, but BOTW also adds a good level of trust for me.

Besides that, I literally just finished my first real gaming PC build yesterday! I didn’t even have time to do install anything, so work today felt like I was a kid having to go to school on Christmas afternoon. I’ll soon install Star Wars Battlefront 2, one of the few games my non-gamer wife ever binged, that way we can play together.
