This is extremely niche. Compared to an helicopter you certainly get lower price, but you can’t transport multiple medical personnel, cannot transport the victim, cannot transport heavy medical equipment.

I really hope this tech will never become mainstream. I cannot see any practical usecase for this except for the transport of a multimillionaire. There are usecases for smaller unmanned drones, notably for transporting medicine and blood quickly. But for the transport of humans it has all the downsides of cars times 10…

As someone who embraces “fuck cars”, this happening is necessary and innevitable to transition to the world I would like to live in. I hope that the people working there won’t become homeless and stuff, that they find new jobs and that the money saved by not centering society around cars can be put to better use.

Is this this US? These roads are so scary. It look like a Autobahn, but with red lights and cars crossing your road. I would probably treat every intersection as a “give way” irrespective of green lights. (Then I would get shot or ran over by some monster-truck, probably)

I shrank it because it felt more natural, then I shrank it more to make the reflection fit in the circle, so maybe I’ve over-done it…
I plan on making it into some stickers. I left the real nose of the duck outside the circle to improve the feel that the duck isn’t flat, hopefully that won’t cause issues with the stickers :p
Not that you will care: Switzerland passed a similar constitutional amendment in 2021, with no exception for religious purposes. It was proposed by a right wing party with barely hidden anti-muslim sentiment. It’s one of the many recent moves that, in my view, makes my country more vulnerable to authoritarian drifts as it makes it harder to conceal one’s identity in protests. There is a difference it seems to the law discussed in this article in that in switzerland the fine is not automatic. it only occurs when someone refuses to uncover their face when asked to.
