A fix for Fable 3? Thats a weird one but its cool to know GE takes the time to implement fixes for a niche game like that.
JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Suggestions for a wireless headset, anyone?English5·2 years agoSteelseries Arctis 1 for sure. Hits all the right spots and is reasonably priced.
The connection is made through a usb c dongle but I prefer it that way because it lets me be use bluetooth for controllers instead. Also has a detachable mic and a headset jack.

JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Which cracks and repacs works best on linux?English101·2 years agoI remember on the linuxcracks subreddit a couple people mentioned LinuxRulez or something. Basically games that were installable by being made into a single bash file.
Didnt know it was possible to install an entire game from an .sh file with a gui, but some talented mf did it. Thats how I pirated the sims 4 with all dlcs and it was so easy.
I use Thunder which is being moderately more active at the moment.
This is all still very much in development not just the apps. I am glad to see everyone working so hard on making lemmy better in general.
Bangle.js 2, the pros are being highly customisable and relatively high battery life with an always on display. Cons are how glitchy said customisability can get the more you try to do with it due to how small the storage and ram is.
JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Gaming@beehaw.org•Just completed Undertale for the first time, this truly is something special.3·2 years agoUp to you, though from the last info we got it seems like things are moving along nicely development wise. The full game should be done by later next year I feel.
JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Gaming@beehaw.org•Just completed Undertale for the first time, this truly is something special.12·2 years agoDefinitely play Deltarune. I like Undertale but Deltarune, especially chapter 2, was insanely good for being free.
JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Free and Open Source Software@beehaw.org•Following this road is overwhelming3·2 years agoSure is but the pay off is worth it in the end. I see a future where we all (or most of us) have our own little home servers that federate and communicate our own needs vs relying on big companies forever.
Either that or pay for services vs using free ones. Proton suite is a great value and Kagi (paid search engine) is good too. Just little by little be the change you want to see in the world my friend. I started my foss journey with pihole and now I selfhost many things and I even pay for my own website to host email aliases and content on.

JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Free and Open Source Software@beehaw.org•What non-FOSS software are you using that you wish you could replace?16·2 years agoThat ship has sailed unfortunately since everyone was conditioned to hate all cryptocurrency during the dogecoin and nft crazes. Though whenever anyone mentions crypto to me I am not afraid to mention monero as a serious option that I use even if no one knows about it or thinks its a shitcoin.

JaxiiRuff@pawb.socialto Free and Open Source Software@beehaw.org•Do you ever get scared of being eating up by a community for reporting problems.13·2 years agoDo it anyway and ignore the backlash. If no one reports it then it will never be addressed. Its the drawing of attention to the matter that counts in my opinion.
The only complaint I have is that most communities or devs prefer you to open issues on places such as github instead but I feel it doesnt really matter since not everyone is willing to take the extra steps.
I was also looking for a good up to date router that could run openwrt recently, and settled on the ASUS TUF-AX4200. Been pretty good experience so far.
