You’ve got to cast that shit out my man. Bitterness is a poison and will only turn you on yourself or others. I’m not in that situation but you have to look at things as if you haven’t met the right one yet. I won’t tell you to lower your standards but maybe consider trying to find the beauty of a person in a different light. Their intelligence, humor, mannerisms, there’s so many aspects of people to hate and appreciate.

Look at it this way, it’s hard to meet people these days. You go to parties, and find people that go to parties. You get on any dating sites? Chat rooms?

Syndicate Wars: Game was mind blowing for the time it was released.

Black and White 1/2: I know, more Peter Molyneaux. Everything else has been mentioned.

Jade Cocoon 1: Not 2. One was extremely unique and you won’t find another game like it. It’s the coolest monster merging game I’ve seen and has an endless dungeon.

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup: It’s old but not old. Went open source and has been developed over some time by the community. It’s much more newbie friendly these days.

Warlords Battlecry 3: Holy cow the races, persistent hero progression in an RTS. It’s age shows though.

That’s all I can pull of the top of my head right now that I haven’t seen mentioned, though I didn’t skim every single comment.

Edit: Just remembered Tyrian existed. Oldschool Schmup that had a good SP campaign and multiplayer.

You’re young but that’s not much of an excuse. At no point did you not think hey, I should be supportive to her? You messed up bro and you owe her a hella apology. Perhaps if you start treating her like a person instead of a piece of meat you can salvage that relationship. In every situation, a good rule of thumb is walk a mile in their shoes.

Complicated answer. I love RTS games, grew up with command and conquer. At some point RTS games hit a peak and never quite got back there. In that time, turn-based strategy games continued to grow and evolve and innovate.

But they bore me to fucking tears. I prefer RTS games, but I just don’t play them anymore. None of my friends play them. I can’t get them into it either. So I play turn-based very occasionally.

Also Zero-K has held my attention a bit but it got old after awhile. I miss Westwood.

People can barely afford what is considered essential these days. Jobs are hard to find, but no one wants to work. Layoffs happening in every large business to cut costs. Profit margins and infinite growth have become congressional priority. Owning your own home is a dream becoming more and more intangible. They make these articles every so often and they’re often disconnected with the struggles of the lower and middle classes, asking a question with obvious answers. Most people without kids are a few paychecks away from bankruptcy and you want them to be excited about parenthood?

Thankfully I haven’t had any issues out of my 13700k but it’s pretty shitty of Intel to not stand behind their products and do a recall.

The amount of people/content. At the same time half the people were bots and 90% of the content is reposts. I guess really it was the activity. I like to do All and when I do with Lemmy, it’s the same posts as of 1.5 days ago. I enjoy the OC posts of Lemmy cause they’re not buried.

I don’t miss sponsored posts and ads every other card. I don’t miss all the bot copypasta of comments and posts. You use it for 12 years and start to notice the same exact comments, up voted to top on every repost.

Jade Cocoon for PSX. The only true monster merging game. Been waiting on RujiktheComatose to change that. As a side note I would’ve said Armored Core but we’re finally getting a new one.
