The Curse of the Golden Idol was released in 2022, but could probably run on my microwave. It’s a brilliant little detective game inspired by The Return of the Obra Dinn. Highly recommended.

Another detective game from 2022 I loved that’s similarly untaxing on hardware was Strange Horticulture. You run a horticulture shop in a Victorian-y fantasy land where strange things are happening…

Both under 8 hours to complete.

Super Mario Odyssey. It’s mostly extremely fun, controls well, with only occasional camera angles and poor checkpointing infuriation lighting its copybook.

I love this video. The escalating insanity is wonderful. I once got the Harder Drives music stuck in my head for about 2 days straight.

That’s like getting kicked out of the KKK for being too racist.

He’s threatening in a way that Anthony Hopkins never could be (and to be fair, in a way he never tried to be). He’s physically imposing to go with the mental acuity. Absolutely superb.

Hopkins is fantastic in the role, and deserves the plaudits, but like you, I feel like Mikkelson inhabited the role like nobody else has.

The Curse of the Golden Idol is a detective-puzzle game that is easily played one handed, is cheap, and is great.

Invisible Inc is like a stealthy XCOM (which I see on your profile), and again, easily played one handed.

In Europe, there is no good reason to own this. It doesn’t fit anywhere. There are other, better options in every single circumstance. Including pickup trucks that are designed for and fit our roads. These trucks are simply too big, they’re a menace.

Only Americans ever think these are the right tool for the job. If you guys want to keep your trucks that kill people at an incredibly outsized rate, fire away. But they are a plague that most Europeans rightly want to keep out.

This isn’t standard. Nothing about that vehicle is standard.

If it’s for lugging tools, get a van. They’re safer and better for the job.

If it’s for camping, get a van.

These trucks make no sense, other than financially to car companies.

If it’s working correctly, it should be as simple as accessing (internal ip) : (port) at (external ip) : (port).

There are a bunch of things that might be going wrong if it’s not working. Unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to help you diagnose the issue!
